The collage series began during the period of quarantine, when isolation and the slowing down of everyday life created a need for new forms of expression. Working with fragments from magazines, printed matter, and found imagery became a way to transform stillness into creativity. By cutting, rearranging, and combining disparate elements, the process allowed for the construction of entirely new visual worlds—spaces where imagination could expand beyond physical limitations.
Through this practice, familiar images are recontextualized and brought together in unexpected ways, forming layered compositions that invite multiple interpretations. Each collage becomes a small universe, where different narratives, textures, and atmospheres coexist and create new connections.
